How Teresa Lashmet became the only lady police office in Miami?
Yes! Isn’t that great? Teresa Lashmet has been reported to be the only lady police officer in the last 30 years in the Miami police department. She was a determined lady who was passionate about becoming a police officer. Hence, after all the odds, she made it.
Teresa Lashmet had her many family members in Law enforcement. Her cousins and one of the uncles was also in patrolling. Due to this, since childhood, Teresa had an interest in this profession. She wanted to do something for the society.
After completing her training of CLEET, she worked for 3 years in patrolling in Carthage, Mo. Then, Lashmet worked in the security department at the Buffalo Run Casino. She was more interested in patrolling. So, she applied to almost all the police departments in Miami. However, everywhere they wanted to hire male officers. This was a big challenge for Lashmet. However, her luck favoured and two police officers had resigned. She then took the examinations and scored the best marks. Teresa Lashmet was the topper. Her hard work brought the results and she was selected as she performed exceptionally well. Great!
Teresa Lashmet has always done her job so well. It was difficult for her when she had to drive for patrolling with all men officers around. But, this did not affect her job. She has set an example for many.

New Career of Teresa Lashmet- Water Aerobics Trainer!
After working as a police officer, Teresa Lashmet took a break for some time and then started working as a trainer in water aerobics. She was always interested in physical activities, hence she chose this career. She is well-trained and teaches many people, the art of water aerobics. She has inspired many people to live a healthy life. She is so active all the time because of this activity of hers.
Teresa Lashmet is a certified trainer. Her students have always given a positive feedback about her. After learning water aerobics from her, they said that they reduced weight and started living a healthy life. Their immunity increased and they started living a healthier life. They said that Teresa was amazing at her work.

Teresa Lashmet is the kind-hearted, calm but an enthuse person, who choose civil service by her own choice. Inspiring constant seeds of peace is what Teresa Lashmet , police officer Miami is known for. Recently she taught a number of kids scuba diving at a workshop at a local gym; and it was such a hit.
