Teresa Lashmet- A Renowned Miami Police Officer

Miami Police Officer Teresa Lashmet is known for her bravery in the Police Department of Miami. She worked really hard to make her dream come true as she was passionate about being a police officer. She was reported to be the only lady police officer in the last 30 years in Miami. Hence, she stands to be an inspiration to so many people, especially women. Her job was never easy. There were all men police officers around, she had to work in shifts and on top of that, she had to deal with dangerous criminals at times. But, who can beat a determined person like Teresa Lashmet? She faced all these situations courageously and established her identity as a bold Miami Police Officer.

 Teresa Lashmet served in the Miami Police department for a few years, but her service was very impressive. She was a just officer. Very few officers are like her who are firm about following their principles. They work selflessly for the people. Teresa Lashmet is respected a lot for her work. She was interested in patrolling and she got the chance as well. At these times, she had to go on night shifts with male police officers. Also, there were all men drivers during night times. But this did not make Teresa weak or leave the job. She was bold enough. She handled all these situations courageously. Teresa Lashmet has protected the lives of many people. She was committed to her service and she proved that through her work. She has risked her life many times for her service.

The inspiration for becoming a police officer came to her from her maternal family. Her cousins and her uncle were in patrolling. They inspired her a lot. So, she decided to enter this field. She studies really hard and topped so many exams. She undertook many training sessions to match the physical requirements as well. These rigorous training sessions made her strong and prepared her for the job she was looking. Teresa Lashmet cleared every hurdle and became the lady Miami Police Officer successfully. She contributed to making Miami a better place through her service. She is an idealistic police officer.

Teresa Lashmet is the kind-hearted, calm but an enthuse person, who choose civil service by her own choice. It takes guts to serve whole life for the society, moreover for the nation.  Teresa says, “I was always in the influence of this field and eagerly wanted to join this profession. I never considered it as a duty but I believe that I am lucky to have a chance to pay back for the betterment of the society and wholeheartedly take it as my responsibility”. TERESA inspires peace!

Inspiring constant seeds of peace is what Teresa Lashmet , police officer Miami is known for. Recently she taught a number of kids scuba diving at a workshop at a local gym; and it was such a hit. Police force does not cultivate peace and win hearts by cleaning crime. But, also by such small deeds which bring the world closer.
