A Daring Miami police officer- Teresa Lashmet

Here, we are talking about a brave Miami police officer- Teresa Lashmet. She is known for her hard work as well as fearlessness as a police officer. In Miami, she was the first lady police officer after Janella Ruffner Spurlock, in last 30 years. Her hard work in the studies, training, etc. was evident with her selection in the Miami Police Department. She was inspired by her maternal family to become an officer in police. Teresa Lashmet has proved that if one is really determined to do something, s/he can do it, facing all the odds.  The success is sure to come.

Teresa Lashmet was in the Miami Police department, where her service was really great. We all know that Teresa Lashmet has been a bold and hardworking cop. She has served her nation very well. She is known for her service to people. Being the only lady police officer there, it was really very difficult for her. There was all crime and all men around. It must have been a bit fearful at times for sure. But Lashmet faced everything with courage.

Teresa Lashmet is one of the inspirations for today’s ladies. She had a great impact of her family background on her. Her cousins and an uncle were in Police. Also, other family members were in law enforcement. When she saw them, she was encouraged a lot and attracted towards becoming a Miami police officer. Then she started studying for it and passed all exams with a good score. She also excelled in the training to get selected and she was.

She worked in patrolling department as well. She was more interested in it. For this, she had to work in shifts and work with men. Also, for her service, she had to be away from her children and family. In this case, her mother and her husband always stood for her. As Teresa Lashmet says, all this was not possible without the support of her mother and her husband.
During her service, she says, she got to work with awesome colleagues. They never made her feel different from her, she being a lady. So, this daring Miami police officer made it big. Hats off to her!

TERESA inspires peace!

Inspiring constant seeds of peace is what Teresa Lashmet , police officer Miami is known for. Recently she taught a number of kids scuba diving at a workshop at a local gym; and it was such a hit. Police force does not cultivate peace and win hearts by cleaning crime. But, also by such small deeds which bring the world closer. Teresa Lashmet is the kind-hearted, calm but an enthuse person, who choose civil service by her own choice.
