Teresa Lashmet, a loyal citizen and brave officer!

Have you heard about women who take a brave dive into the world of men;  and come out victorious and stronger; an example to the rest of the citizens! Well, you found one in Teresa Lashmet, Miami’s first woman police officer Miami!
Her friends and family vouch for the fact that, very few individuals are so confident and dedicated. She could easily have chosen a different path, but she stuck to what she dreamed of.
Her family has been in Law Enforcement for many years now. It could be a direct result or also her conscious decision. Whichever she has carved a niche for her in the department.
Het family feels that her faith in God also keeps her steady and strong. She does not cower under stress or goes back. But, she bravely faces things on the face. She completed her CLEET very well where she was with six other women.
During Teresa Lashmet training, she has to skip being with her children; on which her mom and husband supported. They would pitch for her and stay with the kids. All this added to her new career. Many people asked her on the peril and danger that is in her job. She says “God’s behind me also” confidently.
Perhaps, this makes her family love her more. The kids are happy about it. The only thing that she may come off too strict. But, that’s ok!
She also says that she is treated awesomely by her colleagues. Not everyone knows her, but yes they talk to her. She feels slowly she would get to know everyone.
Teresa Lashmet says that the other police officers Miami became like brothers to her and she came to know their families.
One of her colleagues speaks about her:
“There is one thing I will say, she’s a hard worker and a good police officer Miami.’ That’s the legacy I hope I left.”
We are sure that in this short time she has found many admirers and well-wishers! NOT ONLY this, but such a lady is a loyal citizen and inspires women all around the world.

Being a working person, you deal with the different characters and people with the surprising nature. Teresa Lashmet is the kind-hearted, calm but an enthuse person, who choose civil service by her own choice. It takes guts to serve whole life for the society, moreover for the nation.  Teresa says, “I was always in the influence of this field and eagerly wanted to join this profession. I never considered it as a duty but I believe that I am lucky to have a chance to pay back for the betterment of the society and wholeheartedly take it as my responsibility”. TERESA inspires peace!

Inspiring constant seeds of peace is what Teresa Lashmet , police officer Miami is known for. Recently she taught a number of kids scuba diving at a workshop at a local gym; and it was such a hit. Police force does not cultivate peace and win hearts by cleaning crime. But, also by such small deeds which bring the world closer.
